FRESHFARM Market Opening & Food Drive for The Homeless

Looking for the perfect way to start your Saturday mornings?

The FRESHFARM Market returns for its second season in Bethesda on Saturday, May 5th.

This market features meat, artisan cheeses, breads, pastries, pies, fresh fruits and veggies from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Norfolk Ave. at Fairmont Ave.

On Saturday, May 5, there will also be a food drive to benefit, Bethesda Cares, a community outreach organization, which addresses the problems of the homeless

Bethesda residents and shoppers can donate in one of three ways to Bethesda Cares:

  1. Bring grains, pasta or dried beans (non-perishable items).
  2. Shop at the market for fresh fruits or veggies to donate.
  3. Make a cash or check donation.

The Bethesda FRESHFARM Market opening day will also feature live music, and balloon twisting!
