Crime Solvers Offering Cash Reward for Information

Charles County Sheriff’s detectives and Montgomery County investigators are seeking the identity of a man they believed robbed two banks; one in Charles County and the other in Montgomery County. Crime Solvers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for the tip that leads to the arrest and indictment of the suspect.

 On January 27, at 1:15 p.m., the suspect entered the M&T Bank located at 87 High Street in Waldorf. He passed a note to a teller announcing a robbery and demanding money. Although the suspect did not display a weapon, the note threatened harm if the teller did not cooperate.

Detectives with Montgomery County police believe the same man robbed the Chevy Chase Bank at 11261 New Hampshire Avenue in White Oak on August 14, 2010. The man passed a note to the teller indicating a robbery and demanded money.

The suspect is described as a black male, mid-twenties, 6’0”, 200-210 lbs., with a goatee and mustache. He may be clean shaven now.
