Young Chef Makes Dish Fit For The First Lady

CHEVY CHASE, Md. (WUSA9) -- Ten-year-old Emma Scielzo of Chevy Chase, Maryland was chosen as one of the winners in the White House's Healthy Lunchtime Challenge.

Emma is one of the 54 children that will attend a state dinner at the White House with First Lady Michelle Obama on July 9th.

The entrants were asked to create a recipe that included all groups of the food pyramid.

Her recipe for "Chicken Masala Wrap" was inspired by her grandmother's Indian home cooking.

The recipe includes, different types of peppers, chicken, numerous spices, and is served with a side of mango.
