Inner Loop Reopens After Fatal Collision In Chevy Chase | News
CHEVY CHASE, Md. (WUSA) -- A fatal fiery crash in Chevy Chase shut down a portion of the Capital Beltway but all lanes on I-495 at Connecticut Avenue reopened hours later.
Montgomery County Police confirm one person was killed when a car and a tractor trailer collided on the Inner Loop near Connecticut Avenue just before 3:00 Friday morning. The crash caused the car to catch fire.
Maryland State Police are investigating the incident.
